Actor  Playwright  Dancer

Picture
I work as an actor, playwright and dancer in the theater. I perform classical, contemporary, traditional and avant-garde works for children and adults.  In my youth, I trained extensively in classical ballet, and my interest in dance and movement have continued to grow. I am also a comedy improviser experienced in long and short-form styles.  My favorite roles to play have been: Tortoise in Occidental Children's Theatre's show The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Rogers,  Nanda in The Awkward Age, Jackie Kennedy in the Cuban Missile Tango and The Young Wife in La Ronde.

I graduated from Occidental college in 2009 with a B.A. in Theatre, Summa Cum Laude, with Honors in my department and acceptance into Phi Beta Kappa.  I have also studied in Dublin, Ireland at the Gaiety School of Acting, and at the Portland Actor's Conservatory in Oregon.

Other interesting facts:  I completed my first 1/2 marathon in May 2009.  I do a dinosaur impression.  I love traveling.  I speak some Spanish.  I prefer cats over dogs and vanilla over chocolate.
